Google launched Datally App for managing and saving mobile data

On Tuesday 05th December 2017, Google has launched their new android mobile application named 'Datally'. This app will help users monitor, control, and save on their mobile data.

This app tracks the data usage of every app on your mobile and let you know in real time how much data an app is using at any given point, and gives you a easy interface that will help you quickly enable and disable data usage on an app-by-app basis.

Datally can also notify about public Wi-Fi network available nearby that have already been rated by other users.

This app will help the users to understand their data usage on hourly, daily, weekly or monthly basis and notify how they can save more data. Once you turn on Data Saver mode, the app will blocks all the background data usage and gives real time data usage of each app. With this app you can also block the data usage of a particular app if their data usage gets out of control.

Caesar Sengupta, Vice President, Next Billion Users, Google says via a blog post about Datally, "Mobile data is expensive for many people around the world. And what's worse, it's hard to figure out where it all goes. That's why we built Datally, an app that helps you to control, save more and do more with your data. We've been testing Datally in the Philippines for the past few months, and people are saving up to 30 percent on their data."
